Because
every Malkin Clock
is hand-made, it's easy for us to add an inscription especially
for you. Many people buy a Malkin clock as a commemorative
gift, perhaps for a wedding or retirement, and have it
inscribed with an appropriate dedication or message. Inscriptions
are also popular with our corporate clients, for whom
our clocks can provide smart promotional merchandising.
Popular
choices for inscriptions include the commemoration of
a wedding or retirement, but we can add any name, message
or logo which will fit onto the face, making a Malkin
Clock into an ideal present for that once-in-a-lifetime
occasion. Some examples are illustrated on the left.

Woods - Your Choice |
|
Most
of our clocks are made from old pine wood, which we stain
and polish to a finish which resembles the darker colour
of authentic nineteenth-century clocks. But the original
clocks were never made in pine: they were always made
in hardwoods, usually mahogany, oak, or teak.
We
can make our Office and School/Railway clock surrounds
in oak or mahogany, for a small extra charge. Mahogany
is particularly authentic and popular, with its warm red
colouring.
